About The Writer/Muse Behind Alessandro |
A drumroll please....
Hello!
My name is Laurie, I'm well over the age of consent. I am happily married to a wonderful man, and have been for 25 years. I am also the parent of two children, both functional, well-adjusted adults. I am a licensed practical nurse, and am actively searching for work. If you are reading this page,,you may be wondering, "How can you play men?" I do, and I play them rather well (not to beat my own drum).
If you are easily offended, please look elsewhere. I am not here to stroke your ego, or be mother hen to those individuals who can't draw the line between reality and fantasy. I'm not looking for real time, don't care what sex your mun is, nor should you care what mine is. I have been through the gamut with other role players who feel lied to when they discover who and what I am rather than just enjoying the role play experience. Some of the things I enjoy are detailed stories, turn based play, and NO DRAMA. Like so many others on AOL, I've gotten rather tired of not finding the right chemistry as far as what I'm looking for in other roleplayers.
Things that I thoroughly enjoy:

Things that I thoroughly enjoy:
- Detailed roleplay
- Literacy
- Turn based play
- Attentiveness to your fellow roleplayer
- Multiple paragraphs (just don't take 14 blocks to describe an action)
- Polite folks
- Mutual consideration
- Creativity/thinking outside the box
- Pluses: having a profile or webpage about your character
- Drama within roleplay=excitement!
- Mature themes, adventure, romance
- Sexual undertones, modern-supernatural, dark and edgy play
- Long-term RP
- Informing me of your schedule. (It really does prevent no-shows!)
Things that I despise:
- One line wonders
- Constantly misspelling words
- No profile/webpage
- Too distracted/no show
- Unnecessary rudeness
- Inconsiderate people
- Drama that inhibits creativity, or not having any creativity
- DRAMA OOC=me hitting the big X in the top right hand corner of the screen
- Crossing/Blurring OOC to IC.
- Muns that do this- :giggles:
- Comic sans fonts (I don't know why but when I see it I want to puke)
- Boring people
- Vanilla play
- Short-term, hit-or-miss RP
- Flaking out after 1-2 scenes because its not working for you
- Overly sensitive, assholish behavior
- Entering YOUR chat room when YOU are seeking roleplay and YOU acting like a complete douche when asked simple questions about collaboration!
